I don’t particularly write about life, but it’s time we start knowing what’s going on behind the scenes. I’ll start with the most practical things first (if my sense of practicality is even correct to begin with — as far as I can tell, I don’t think I even spelled “practicality” right).
- For about a week, my brother from California visited the family. As a whole family, we went crawfish hunting, went to go camp at the lake, and cruised around various hot spots in Albuquerque. He just left yesterday evening, and is planning on coming back during the winter season for some… well, snowboarding!
- I’ve yet to get a copy of Crime and Punishment, yet alone, start reading it. It’s due a week and a half from now!
- Registration for school begins this Monday. I have to turn in my textbooks that I forgot to return during the end of the ‘05 - ‘06 school year, otherwise registration will turn out ugly for me. I already picked my classes before school ended, but there’s a high chance I may be changing them in favor of either more fun classes, more easy classes, or less classes altogether, ahaha.
- I just finished converting a PSD into a WordPress theme for Min Sung’s Wired! Zune, a website and blog paying close attention to Microsoft’s acclaimed iPod rival, the Zune. Due out soon.
One thing I need to clear up though:
I personally designed this design and held hands with Alan to complete the coding for WordPress 2.0.

No actual hands were being held in this project, so don’t get any ideas.
Okay, glad to clear that up. - Piano lessons are going well, but they’re ridiculously short (only a mere 25 minutes every Friday). Today I just finished my 2nd lesson, again, it was too short, but at least I learned something. 75% of the learning and practicing process comes from practicing at home, away from the lessons, every other day — assuming I can steal my sister’s keyboard and keep it long enough to practice before they demand it back.
- Just now, I finished updating and reworking the After the Rain theme to what I call a “version 1.2″ design. Various changes are seen, the most obvious being the visual ones, including 3 differing headers. As well, I added support for… oh my GOD — TAGS! Come on, these posts need to be meta-sorted in one way or another, plus it may help attract visitors, which is become a main concern for my blog right now. What’s a blog if you’re the only reader? They call those “diaries,” and I definitely don’t want one of those — yet.
So that’s what I’ve been up to. Now I have school coming just around the corner. Much to my liking as the school year rushed by, so did the summer. I have to say, summers are going by faster and faster, they don’t care much about our leisure like they used to back in the day (or should I say year). Summer is much like a speeding bullet train that’s left you behind for the bullet train of school to come pick you up again. In these remaining weeks, it’ll be time to pack up on anime and last-remaining summer projects before I head off to the final year of high school, as an unrelenting, resilient senior, z0mg.
