5/14 was the day I graduated from high school… don’t think I’ll forget that date — well, knowing me, I might end up forgetting the date, but never the moment that happened.
Feels like I totally steamrolled those four years of high school, having my share of thoughts, doubts, successes, failures, and the like… and experienced a great amount of growth too, I should say. But as I graduated from high school, I also graduated from those adolescent ways of life (though I still retain some aspects of it, like gaming and having a quirky outlook on life).
Anyway, away from my nostalgic, sentimental review of the days past, I’m ready for college. In fact, I want to go already, but knowing the way things work, there exists a 3-month buffer before I can start living this next phase of life.
So, what to do to kill time in that three-month phase? My answer: Freelance.
That’s right folks, I desperately need to kill time (and earn a bit of work experience and some cha-ching) over the summer. So, my partner-in-crime and I decided to start a little web design firm, serving anyone who dares contact us to see our mad skillz in action. Behold, Pixel Wake Studios! Serving web needs and making things badass since… well, 2007.
And we’re serious, if you or someone you know needs a web design job done, come see us for it. You won’t regret it (and neither will we).
