After loading up Oblivion, loading up some new mods, and rerolling a brand spankin’ new character (elf ninja-mage, woot!), I managed to kill the past four days by playing this addicting piece of software. Huzzah!
I’ve received word from my sister, living three doors down the road, that she and her family are going to California (or ka, the literal pronounciation of CA, for those eccentric folk) Sunday morning by car. 3am morning, I should elaborate.
Why the early get-up? It takes around 12 hours to drive to the state from New Mexico… 10 (plus a speeding ticket) if it’s my brother driving, but he’s not driving, so it’s 12 hours. By now, after having survived so many road trips to and fro, I think I’ve gotten quite used to sitting in a car, nonstop, for twelve hours. I mean, how different is it from me sitting on this blasted PC all day long? Well, save for the absence of a PC itself, and a slightly-less comfortable seat… no, scratch that, much less comfortable seat. I’ve taken longer road trips, but those involved rest/nap stops in eight-hour intervals or so.
What to do in CA? Well, I’m sure I can figure something out, I mean, I don’t even know how long I’m going to be staying there, because who needs to plan for such vacations. Although, I already have plans… more accurately, been forced to have plans… to meet up with an old friend of mine of whom I haven’t seen in ages, literally. Karen was her name, or something like that. Whoops, I almost forgot her name! Just kidding.
