For those of you in Asia, I’m a day late, but it’s all good. I mean, what would people in Asia be doing reading my blog, anyway?
Happy Chinese New Year to all who celebrate it fanatically and to all who don’t. Yeah, that’s right, luck and joy hit those who don’t do this kind of gig too. As for me, it’ll be a good time to celebrate with family some 70 miles north of me, and empty out my wallet with fortune money while I’m at it. I’ve hit the point in time where I, being the spoiled person I am, have to do some giving of my own now. Not that I have any monies to spare, but I still have to do it — I have nephews, brothers, and sisters to be giving good fortune to.
This is going to be interesting to budget…
By the way, I know it don’t mean much coming from me, since several billion other people are half-heartedly wishing the same thing, but I’m serious about the happy new year part. It’s a new year, so we should treat it as such and start anew. Yesterday’s misfortunes are forgotten, and we look toward today and tomorrow for greater fortunes. ![]()
