One night, I was walking back to the dorms, then suddenly, hanging between two supporting pillars of the dining hall building on a web, was this semi-big spider chilling like there’s no tomorrow. At first, I was like “what the hell.” I mean, I didn’t see it an hour ago when I was walking in the other direction for food. This spider builds fast; this spider has Mad Engineering Skillz, and if I were to take a guess at its level of expertise, I’d say… maybe a bachelor of web engineering? The point is, the spider built the web fast.
I, happening to have my camera handy, decided to take a picture of the spider, two, actually: one while it’s chilling, and one booking for its hiding corner after I snapped it. If I were to imagine a conversation between the two of us, it would probably go something like this:
Me: Dude, you look awesome! Mind if I take a picture of you?
It: Go ahead, see if I care.
Me: Good to know you’re not afraid, now let me just take this nice picture…
*flash*
It: What the F%! That shit hurt! Go to hell, screw you! *runs away at the speed of spider*
… I must be a real Techie for taking an up-close picture of a spider hanging outside our dining hall, and uploading it to blog about it. This… is epic. And what’s also epic is that I’m working on a small visual update for the current theme, woot.
