This is the truth, really. Weekends here suck, primarily because almost no one is here on the weekends. Most of the student body are out either looking for time to kill in Albuquerque, or are back home wherever they originally came from.

As for me, I’m stuck here. Well, “stuck” is a rather charged word, perhaps “left here” would be more appropriate, for lack of a better word. It’s mostly because I have no car; if it were completely up to me, I would drive up to Albuquerque every other weekend and chill at my old home over the weekend. Not to say that weekends here are utterly boring (trust me, with this PC, I’m invincible!), but that I bet there’s more to do over at Albuquerque than, say, some semi-dead town like Socorro, which is where we’re all at right now.

Anyway, on to the point: weekends here suck, again. That’s right, they do. There’s hardly anyone here to chit-chat and kill time with. I’m not exactly the most social of people, but even I can realize the emptiness of the school on weekends. I hope it’s like this only for this weekend, after all, it’s the first week of school, and only about a good ten percent of the student populace are truly settled in, maybe they’re all off at home getting more gear for their rooms or something. I can only wait and see.

For the most part, I’m already settled in. I just need to get a hold of some optional components the next time I get a chance to stop by home. This list includes my IIDX controller, my old backpack, some more dining utensils, more towels, and the like.

As far as classes go, they’re all easy, nothing more need be said. I’m afraid I might get bored and start slacking (it’s a general trend I follow). I’m taking general studies this semester, I’ll start working toward my major next semester. For now, I got a few classes to cakewalk over this semester.

Oh, and I musn’t forget, I still have to ship my non-existent porn magazines to Kovacs pretty soon. He’s running out of material to “work” with, especially of those involving men.
