So I woke up this morning at 6:00am, what the hell?

My brother busted through my bedroom door SWAT style this morning with a rather frank wake-up call:

Wake up, we gotta go early! It’s a long drive from here, and we have to be there before 9!

I realize that Socorro is quite a ways from home, but probably not far enough to warrant waking up at 6 to make it there by 9… unless you’re biking.

I don’t know where he got the idea that a drive from Albuquerque to Socorro would be the equivalent from Orange County to Vegas — we got there in a bit less than an hour! So we ended up waiting for a good hour or so until the doors opened… hey, at least Tech has some nice (albeit random as hell) ponds dispersed throughout the Macey Center area to look at in the meantime. It was quite a nice sight, especially considering the random gigantic fountain that was just sitting in the middle of the pond, pumping enough force to shoot the water some fifty thousand or so feet in the area. O_O

I really need to take a picture of that fountain-on-crack.

Some six hours shuffling papers, making fun of Lee’s half-Asian-ness, and laughing at James’ math placement later, we left the campus with my class schedule and bill. My class schedule is only tentative; there’s a chance that it might change (after all, no one likes being forced into purely Monday-Wednesday-Friday class schedules). As soon as I’m settled with my schedule, I’ll post it.

After looking through the bill, I’m not indebted to the school at all. Apparently, the school owes me $1,961 for this semester. Cool.
