Ah yes, typical Albuquerque (no wait, New Mexico) weather. One day it rains cats, dogs, moose and deer, and the next day it is a ridiculously hot day where all the rainwater evaporates in one fell swoop!
Today, New Mexico weather was like “screw it, let’s mix things up — WIND!” and then everything was like “wtf.” I could’ve sworn it was nice and sunny this morning when I looked out the window… then I went to the bathroom and out and it was cloudy like no tomorrow. What the hell.
I take it the clouds know how to teleport now… freaking crazy.
Then I walk outside to get the mail, and lo! there was my brave little lawn tree planted at the front of my house. Strong was it when it was bearing 50+ mile-per-hour winds yet it did not give way due to its trusty foundations in the dry New Mexican soil. However, it was bending 45 degrees toward the ground… maybe it did get a little fubarred by the wind. Still, it did not change the fact that the leaves were still intact by the day’s end.
So now I’m looking up tomorrow’s weather. It’s gonna be windy again, odam.
