If you pay attention to my last.fm profile, then you know that I’m no ordinary music listener. I have a weird taste… enough for any normal person to have a big “what the f*$#&” expression on his/her face.
Anyway, Japanese artists rock, especially unsigned, amateur Japanese artists. Aside from Shiki, there’s another freelance artist whose music I adore: Phantasma. Excellent, excellent, excellent artist of piano ballads and occasional trance music who deserves more credit than just being on another muzie page. Knows how to utilize the piano very well, whether for synthesized sound or for just straight-up piano.
My most favorite tracks from this artist are Canopus (which is guaranteed to send you into transcendence), Snow Light Night for those cold and sleepy days, and Magnificence for a demonstration of piano prowess. Phantasma is an artist that I never get bored of listening to. Therefore, I think you all should check him/her out; the music’s FREE to download, so what’s stopping you anyway?

Completely off topic, but I was randomly stopping by. I like what you’ve done with the design; very classy.
Wow, someone else who actually knows about Phantasma (and doesn’t appear to be part of the bemani community). Awesome.
Actually, I am part of the bemani community. I play StepMania, DDR, and Beatmania.
I found out one of Phantasma’s songs via a SM, loved it, and went to download all his works.
A bit late, but that’s cool. You go to bemanistyle then I assume?
I make SM simfiles under the name Lyth.
