The next simfile to be released is a complete revision of the current Air simfile on the downloads section. This one will have easier difficulties, and challenge steps will be completely reworked to offer more variation in the steps and rhythm to keep players on their toes (get it?) and to better synchronize with the song. It won’t be as repetitive and the difficulty will still remain fairly the same.
Overall, it’s just a revision with aims to greatly improving the file, because the current version (which only has one generic difficulty) doesn’t do Air, an extremely godly song (especially the full version), any justice… in fact, it’s an insult to the artist, the song, and the StepMania community in general. That’s why I’m revising this simfile hardcore to give it the respect and attention it truly deserves.
Oh, and another thing, there will be tons of BG animations complementing the song. They are featured from the original Beatmania simulation version of Air at Shiki’s website… I’m pretty sure he/she won’t mind me stealing them to port over to StepMania. ^_^
Look out for this one in about one to two weeks.
