Quit bugging me, all of you people who e-mail me and IM me about the out-of-place skyline on top. I’m working on it! ~_~
… anybody got ideas on what to replace it with?

Alan, you have the most awesome themes…man.
How are things? you’re HS senior this year, right?
Yessir, last year of high school; all set for college.
Dude, get your blog back up!
The idea of the skyline is not that bad. It’s just too small to be recognised instantly, but to noticable to, well, not notice.
I suggest making it bigger (ie. scale it up, if it is a vector) until the header partially overlaps it.
Just see how that works out, if it is ugly… delete my comment.
All though the “type here” box in which I am typing right now looks kind of cool, you may want to put a border around it as you may confuse the elderly, which makes up 99.9% of unique visitors on this website (don’t ask me how I know). Also have you considered putting nothing up there? It seems like there is a good 150px up there that have no function or form to them. I think the theme would look cleaner if you just had the header move up to that space. other than that .GIF up all your images dude, it saves space, or another thing you could do is go .PNG 8-bit with image ready selecting the color palette, not sure which one saves more space, but I know you prefer .PNG for it’s better transparency compatibility. Later.
Already done it when you first talked to me about it last year.
99% of PNG images here were saved as 8-bit through ImageReady or Photoshop’s Save For Web feature, and some of the others are already GIF.
