Konami now has official rights to arguably the greatest dance game franchise, In The Groove, and can now do whatever they hell they want with it.
ITG is officially dead, because it’s most likely (no scratch that — 100% likely) they’re going to fubar the game hardcore. It’d be as miraculous as the coming of Christ Himself if Konami does something right with this game, now that it is in their hands.
Screw you, Konami, screw you up the ass! Why don’t you try practicing fair competition for once instead of suing them off the market!?
Update Edit: Konami now has intellectual property rights to it, meaning RoXoR will continue functioning as a developer, but they can’t make anymore four-panel dance games. In other words, Konami now owns ITG and the whole four-panel dance game idea and it’s pretty likely the game’s going to drop and Konami will continue with their ridiculous DDR games.
