New Site is ALMOST Here

Geeky Things

Oh how the human mind is fueled by curiosity and the fearlessness of experimenting. I have completed registration and purchase of rainender.com, and is now set up on my friend’s webserver. This change of “host” is primarily to get more space and unlimited bandwidth usage. I could really care less about uptime and features and stuff for the time being, as there are some key files that are needed to be hosted and delivered without fear of depleting bandwidth resources.

So as long as the T-1 shared connection doesn’t die, the site will be up 90% of the time, I speculate. Yeah I know, humans are a tough crowd in which they mandate all 99.99% or none at all, but I’m a bit more lenient on this one.

Over the course of the week, many things will be done! First and foremost, it’s in your best interest as loyal reader and visitor to change/update your bookmarks. This domain is set to expire in October. Rainender.com, as I have planned, will stay with me for life, so no waiting to backorder on this name, suckers. Next, WordPress will be set up, along with all existing posts and comments intact, along with a new theme as well (I mean, why the hell not?).

So yeah, thanks for supporting me and communicating with me through my blog, everyone. I don’t want this trend to die, so please just bear for a few days. :D
