So it started with a simple catchphrase, one that rivals the famous “piece of cake!” Knowing that pieces of cake suck, and that we prefer the whole thing for heavenly, sugar-induced delirium, Ben Russell decides to extend it and say “cake!” as a response to just about anything which can be presented as a problem.
Some examples are:
“Dude you can’t jump over that cliff in Halo 2!”
“CAKE! No problem!”
And stuff like that.
That being said, the “posse,” as James Barela would call it, is pretty much (as of the ‘06 ‘07 school year) just us small group of people who pretty go everywhere and anywhere after school, during school, and sometimes on weekends. I lost count of how many there are, but it’s the same. Every. Single. Time.
“Aha!” said Ben, thinking awhile, “It’s time to give this posse a new name. One that’ll make things UBER easy!”
And thus a new “gang” was born. Better yet, a new school crew was born — one that was to dominate all of West Mesa for eternity. One that was so cool it needed to stop being cool to prevent people from dying.
This is the CAKE CREW!!!
And now I’m like, what, the 4th member of the group? Like, lawlercakes man.
