I think the lot of you already know I don’t work. I’m too cool to work, but as a price for being to cool, I don’t get to earn any money. Instead, I wander around the house most of the day, doing things I usually do — you know, games, anime, dancing with arrows, more games, more anime, more arrows, and the like. This month, feeling a sudden urge to do some work (be it paid or not), I unwittingly took a task of converting a PSD into a WordPress theme, kind of like this sexy site you’re seeing.

Unfortunately, the PSD is only a graphical blueprint of what I’m supposed to do, since this is a WordPress theme my client wants, you can’t exactly just slice up a PSD and expect it to work on WordPress. Some dirty work is needed; this I did not see coming, for I didn’t know the PSD would be as simple as that. What I’m trying to say is, I have to code my own design from scratch, based off the PSD, then convert it to a WP theme. Joy, this is going to be more tedious then I had expected.

As the ‘07 school year comes nearer, close to about 3 weeks from now, I have begun another search for updates on my favorite artists; stuff like new albums, new singles, who leaves, who joins, who dies, who lives, who does something stupid — Yeh you get the picture. Anyway, yesterday I have discovered a track of what might be Hybrid’s greatest track ever, Just For Today. Their publisher (as I should call them), Distinctive Records, has offered this track for free as a teaser of Hybrid’s newest upcoming album, I Choose Noise. This track, appropriately titled, is an 8-minute masterpiece of breakbeat, soft electronic music combined with a powerful cinematic, orchestral soundscape — the prime method of musical conduct for Hybrid’s music. They do it again with this track, but this one is one of the most beautiful I’ve heard in ages. Great job, Hybrid, can’t wait for your next sexy album.
