OMFG METAL PAD!!!!

Games

It’s here, oh mai gawd, it’s finally here! Despite several ligaments torn due to its ridiculous 50-pound weight, my metal pad has finally been delivered early evening yesterday. It’s so sexy. I’m writing this late because I was possessed by the awesome-ness of it, and was absorbed with constant dancing-with-arrows for about a day and a half straight. Now that I have moved my computer back upstairs where it belongs, I can return to my Internet commuting once more, and therefore, an update to my ‘blog.

Now I still need to figure out a way to play on a metal pad on the upstairs floor without causing the 2nd floor to collapse and kill the lot of us — and when I say “us,” I mean myself, my furniture, my computer, my books, and my plush toys. :P

Along with one of my old soft pad, I plan on writing a review of this metal pad soon to give my feedback of RO’s products, as well as help other dance savants in choosing their pads. We all know we love the CF, but some of us aren’t really that rich for such a freaking expensive dance pad… therefore, good alternatives must be listed. And safe to say, after 6 straight hours of pounding the pad away with some of ITG’s 10 to 11 footers, this pad can take it. But it’s not the short-term reliability that matters, the long-term durability is important too, after all, I just spent $200 on a metal dance pad, I want it to last, don’t I?

I’ll be keeping track of the longetivity of this pad as time passes by.

See, I enjoy the game too, but I wouldn’t spend 200 bucks on a metal pad? Also, does it feel different playing it then an average soft pad? Do you wear shoes or the normal socks?

It’s just like the arcade, and I wear shoes. This one has arrows that are more recessed than the arcade, so it takes awhile to get used to, but it makes playing at the arcade later a breeze.

Awesomeness. If I had a spare $200 bucks and space to store it, I’d get one myself.. but I don’t, and I haven’t.

/me feels he’s failed his mission as a geek/nerd/wannabe otaku
