Imagining the Tenth Dimension

Holy crap is all I can say. Religion and theology aside, this is some pretty interesting, gloomy, yet amazing stuff. Definitely worth a view if you want to liven up your day or increase your awareness of the scientific arts.

Hehe.. “loading assests.” This was definitely intended for a more serious audience than myself.

Seriosuly, though, the string theory is a piece of junk. It was started by a guy as a futile attempt at revenge for getting told off and dropped out of a physics department, and for whatever reason has caught on with a lot of the newer physicists. I’ve heard the theory called something along the lines of a “tragedy of science.” Stupid, sad, and somewhat amusing stuff.

Anywho, after watching the video, I’d have to say my opinion isn’t much changed. Seems like an interesting idea with little to back it up; it also bugs me that it repeats itself so often. And I also found it odd that I could easily call several of those dimensions “time.”

I did like the example with the ant, though. That was just cool. xD

Still, dimensions are cool, whether you believe in them or not. :P You don’t have to believe it, but just thinking about alone makes you wonder about the pervasiveness of science. I’m no science freak, but I can tell you right now that my interest in the scientific arts has increased due to demonstrations like these — be it proven one day or a constant myth.
