Done!

Life, School

“Aha! I bet you didn’t think that Spanish II’s final would be challenging, you were fooled by MATH’s final!” says my intuition, and dang I wish I could kill it, but you know… it leads your life and all… and stuff, yeah. I thought the math final was going to be hard, it being the evil Calculus crap and all, but found that a bit of studying did the trick and I’m pretty confident I got a half-decent grade if I do say so myself. Like I said, the Spanish final, on the other hand, came back around me hard.

Recent Edit: I removed the WP-Translate plugin because 1: The code generated isn’t valid (and I’m damn too lazy to edit it) and 2: It’s not all that great of a translator. So, I’ll be looking for a more conventional translator, if you can find a translation script that doesn’t rely on other web translation services, give me a holler. :D

The finals schedule was divided into two days: Thursday and Friday. It was a normal class schedule for each day, but we took finals in each period, and continued them the next day, so we were expected to finish by the end of the period on Friday. This was a really retarded schedule compared to last year where it would be divided into two days, 3 periods each, each period being 2 or so hours long — this was more than enough time to finish a final for a class. The two-day-6-period final only allocated 1:30 hours for us, which really pissed me off. In short, the Spanish final had 200 multiple choice questions and listening comprehensions. I figured I could finish them in the two-day period, but on the first day we did 4 listening comprehension sections, which raped 40 minutes of the 57-minute period, so I left off on Thursday with #67, and today, I finished at only #170, leaving 30 unanswered, thus an automatic -30 points.

I don’t know about you, but this was absolutely gay. How does a teacher expect us to do 200 questions with comprehension? Even a prodigy can’t even work that fast. So as you can see, I’m pretty unsatisfied, never thought Spanish would be the hardest final. Oh wait, it wasn’t a hard test, it was more of like an endurance test.

Flip Side

On the flip side I bought Christmas chocolates last night and left them all in a gift bag. Went around school today passing them to my friends, whom I love so dearly, obviously I got the typical “thank you”’s and hugs here and there. I had fun distributing the candy like they were drugs or ‘roids or something. Classic stuff, good thing cops didn’t bother me thinking “Are you hiding crack in those wrappers??”

Now I’ll be enjoying my winter break, hopefully, but I’ve been really socially deprived lately, so I might have trouble surviving the break. There’s a good chance I might not make it all the way, but until then, I’ll be working on my priorities as mentioned in my last post, found here.

Do you have snow? If so, jump in it, roll around, eat copious amounts, and sleep often.

Zoogies: There is no snow…

Eoh gawd, that sounded a lot like a Matrix satire. O_O

Maelos: While Studio 8 is running to your house, get to practicing and planning!

ive got pages of planning, communities waiting, and a mind scrambling. After I finish cooking and writing my case study I’ll DL d8 for a temporary scratch for the s8 itch.

btw, I’ll be 18 on the 18th. ;-)

and when you said rotating flash images? yeah, I can do that. I thought you meant literally rotating, like spinning them or something. If you wanted images to rotate in a cycle (like your banner/header), then yes. Here is an exam…holy shibi thats a big cockroach!

– I can add some looping sound too.

Nice, I’ll be needing something like that for a future theme, except it rotates once on load only, like a random image banner each time you visit the page. PHP scripts get boring after awhile. :P
