Here comes a short, inferior, falsely-titled, “editorial” by me on take-home tests and the not. Does this seem to imply something? Of course it does, it obviously means that I was given a take-home test this weekend and got owned by it — hence my desire to write some commentary about it. You may find it disgustingly ridiculous, disgustingly funny, disgustingly informative, or just plain out disgustingly useless.
This’ll be short…
My personal opinion (and it really does suck, just so you know) is that we, the students, should not, and I mean should not ever be given take-home tests for the weekend. For one, tests suck on weekdays in the classroom to begin with, so what makes the teachers think tests on weekends would be any better? Absolutely none! Zip! Nada!!! No-no!
I was given a take-home AP US History test to do over the weekend, and dang it wasn’t pretty — all those plans of lanning on the LAN room were like GOOSH!!! — gone! I divided my day up, doing half the test on Saturday and half of the test today. Although I finished, it was mind rape. Your mind just simply doesn’t calibrate itself to school work (yet alone, TESTS!) on weekends as it does on weekdays.
So, the next time you get a take-home test, do yourself a favor and go “Oh noes! How should I plan the weekend!??” Good question! Better yet, kneel down in front of your teacher, kiss his/her legs, and beg for mercy, because frankly, you can’t integrate “Do take-home test” into your weekend schedule, because your mind can’t take it, and you’ll be too lazy! Does this sound all too familiar when you think about “work” on the weekend?
GoOoD!

I haven’t had many of take home tests this year thank god. I did last year, but I have the nazi teacher.
