Fall Carnival

Life, School

Wednesday was Fall Carnival. Well, it wasn’t exactly a carnival, because there were no rides, and that really disappointed me! :( It costed all of us a dollar to get in, and it was being held in the school courtyard. It was surprising, because I didn’t think anybody would go, because that’s how our school is like, heh. There were a bunch of people there, thankfully there weren’t any stupid gangsters around stirring up trouble.

I’d like to see that I spent my money on something good, but I’d rather see it as this: I spent a dollar to enter the carnival just to hang out with friends, because I didn’t exactly do much, blarghle.

Although, I did spend another dollar on drinks. Man, that orange soda was so good when I was thirsty doing the time. I also spent another dollar at the leather pole fighting ring, where each person grabbed this huge, soft, leathery pole and start whacking at each other until time is up. I was forced to go up there with one of my friends (oh man, peer pressure sucks), but I managed to own my friend because I was just being dodgy and just knocked her down at precise moments, hehe.

Today, Mike and Levi are supposed to come over again, but Levi always leaves his phone off, so who knows when we’ll meet up today.

Eh, We had something like that a while back in 8th grade year. It was a fund raiser where you played games and got tickets and could buy a bunch of random 20 cent items. Not exactly the same idea but close enough. The only reason it reminds me of your Fall Carnival is because it had the “Beat the living crap out of your friends with a pole” game. Or in my case it was the “Beat up your Girlfriend and make her start crying” game. I think she never really forgave me for that night. Well, my schools variation of this easy game was that two friends (or enemys) would stand on a platform 3 feet above a blow up platform and you had to knock them off. To make a long story short, I broke her glasses.
